Write ASCII file
This Command Button is located on the graph screen and allows you to write an ASCII file which will contain
in txt format the plotted data including market data, cycles and technical studies.
SnagIt
SnagIt is a third party vendor which installs a printer driver that allows a screen capture of your Techsignal
screen with all its studies, exactly as you see it on the screen. See http://www.techsmith.com/ .
When you select printer as your export destination, and you have previously selected SnagIt as your
default printer (you can do that just before you hit Print; see below), the print function will send the
Techsignal output to SnagIt for capture. The SnagIt program automatically opens with your Techsignal
screen capture, and you can select how much of the graph you want to save and in what file type (many
choices).
You can make the SnagIt printer selection on the fly in Windows XP, without leaving Techsignal, by going
through StartSettingsPrinters and Faxes and selecting SnagIt as your default printer; when done with
this one task, you can change back to your original printer by repeating the same steps but selecting your
original printer.

Change Scale
There are two ways to change the scale of the plot. One way is through the Customization dialog box by
right clicking the graph screen. This option is not available if there are three axes showing. If you are using
Non-Overlapping axes, then adjust the scale prior to plotting a technical study. The second method is by
moving the mouse on the graph containing a technical study, above or below a plot, and a double arrow will
appear. Now hold down the left mouse button and drag the arrow up or down, changing the relative space
for the price plot and the technical study.
